Art at the Edge of the Sea

Inspiring Creativity on the Coast

Cromer Artspace brings great art right to the heart of our seaside town. From The Bigger Picture, which places large‑scale artworks from national and regional collections around Cromer, to the changing exhibitions at Artspace on the Prom, and creative workshops and talks, we’re showing that inspiring, high‑quality art doesn’t just belong in big cities — it can thrive here on the coast.

For Artists

Cromer Artspace is focussed on artists. We aim to contribute to the development of art practice and theory, to exhibit world class, varied and innovative contemporary art and to be recognised regionally and nationally.

The Bigger Picture

The Bigger Picture turns Cromer’s streets into an open‑air gallery, breaking art out of the gallery and putting world‑class images where everyone can see them. No tickets. No barriers. Just art, right in the heart of everyday life.

Working with national and regional galleries our unique Bigger Picture project brings life-size reproductions of major artworks to the streets of Cromer.

We are 100% volunteer run – how can you help?

Cromer Artspace is run entirely by volunteers and there are many ways you can get involved. You don’t need to be an artist to join us, you just need to be interested in art and arts activities and be willing and able to commit some time.

To cover the costs we raise funds through art events, grant applications, sponsorship and donations. Regular donations are particularly helpful.
