The Cromer Artspace Programming Team were pleased to be joined by Craig Barber from Norwich University of the Arts and Amanda Geitner, from East Anglian Art Fund, for the selection of shows for the 2026 programme.
The 2026 programme covers a wide range of media, including print, photography, 3D works and textiles. We are delighted that our renovations enable us to include a textile exhibition for the first time, as there is so much exciting contemporary work in this field.
We present individual artists from our region, Chris Kirby, Gordon Senior and Ivy Smith as well as a group celebrating the legacy of Derek Greaves and in early August, artists from Barrington Farm.
Later in August we have a Postcard Sale, appropriate for a seaside town, and showcasing a very wide range of artists. There will definitely be something for everyone.
Cromer Open 2026 in October will include nationally and internationally recognised artists as well as emerging practitioners.
In November we will end the season with a collaborative exhibition by the four COMPASS artists from Manchester and Norfolk who have been working together in both places through the year.
